Ce soir-l\u00e0, je me suis arr\u00eat\u00e9 au bord d’un champ, quelque part juste en sortant de Gatineau. La grange \u00e9tait l\u00e0 depuis longtemps, visiblement. Le bois gris, les planches qui l\u00e2chent, les graffitis sur le mur. Elle n’avait plus la prestance d’avant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais le soleil, lui, ne faisait pas la distinction. Il se couchait exactement derri\u00e8re le fa\u00eete, et ses rayons se glissaient entre les structures pour dessiner ce sunstar que les photographes de paysage cherchent parfois des heures sans le trouver. L\u00e0, il \u00e9tait offert, simplement, \u00e0 qui prenait le temps de s’arr\u00eater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce que l’abandon r\u00e9v\u00e8le<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Il y a quelque chose de paradoxal dans ces vieilles structures. Plus elles tombent, plus elles deviennent int\u00e9ressantes \u00e0 photographier. Ce n’est pas de la fascination morbide. C’est plut\u00f4t la reconnaissance que le temps laisse des traces qui ont leur propre beaut\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La grange ne cache plus rien. Ses murs s’ouvrent, la lumi\u00e8re passe \u00e0 travers, les formes se simplifient. En silhouette contre un ciel de ce calibre, elle devient graphique, presque sculpturale. Le contexte de d\u00e9labrement dispara\u00eet. Il ne reste que la forme et la lumi\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce que cette image m’a dit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Je suis rest\u00e9 l\u00e0 plusieurs minutes, \u00e0 ajuster le cadre, \u00e0 attendre que le soleil arrive exactement au bon endroit. Le lens flare qui tra\u00eene au premier plan, certains l’auraient \u00e9vit\u00e9. Moi, je l’ai gard\u00e9. Il ajoute quelque chose de vivant, de non contr\u00f4l\u00e9, qui colle bien \u00e0 l’esprit du lieu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une grange qu’on croyait finie, un coucher de soleil ordinaire sur une route ordinaire \u00e0 2 pas de Gatineau. Et pourtant, une image qui reste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
